PROJECT DOME

Today's post isn't about studiowork but about another project issued by class RAG 132 which is Built environment.

We need to produce an end product of a DOME made up from 6 pentagon. 
There are 6 Element of production during the production of the dome.

Intention → Actor → Rules → Site → Act → Product

1. INTENTION
The aim for this project is to build an environment friendly and zero cost geodesic Dome.

2. ACTOR
The actor which is our Dome member are from different major and this help us a lot while producing this Dome

3. RULES

 zero cost
 Able to carry by 3 person 
Could accommodate 5 Person 
Assemble in 30 minutes 
Life span = 1 month 
Recyclable 
Assemble on 1st of October
TIME: 11.00am - 11.45am

4. SITE

Convocation Site, USM (behind DTSP)

5. ACT
Produce 6 Pentagon using recyclable item and connect them successfully into a dome during the assembly. 
Type out a report after producing the DOME

6. PRODUCT
The GEODESIC DOME

SUBMISSION & ASSEMBLE DATE : 1 OCTOBER 2014

PROCESS 
 Me & Ee Thean Trying to form the pentagon using tape
While the others cut the bamboo into the right measurement. 
 Our main materials is Bamboo Stick, Plastic bag, Tyre strip & tree's roots

 The Finished 6 Pentagon. (an overnight works from Chiang Her & Lian Xin )
 All of us try our best to connect the dome with tyre strip and tree's root.

All of us work together and cooperate very well while producing the dome. Even though we faced a lot of problem while searching for materials and also while connecting the pentagon, we still try our best to complete it. Thanks to everyone's cooperation while producing the dome! It is impossible to be done without you all! We're proud of our dome!!
